Angelina Dodson, MA, LAPC, NCC
Angelina is passionate about helping her clients live authentic and healthy lives. It is her goal to empower clients and give them hope by listening to their unique stories, building upon their strengths, and teaching them new skills. Angelina offers conventional and Christian based counseling.
With training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Angelina teaches her clients DBT and CBT skills and guides them as they implement those skills in their lives. Angelina believes in collaborating with clients and welcomes feedback throughout the counseling process.
With a background in both physical and mental health, she takes a holistic view of client care. She has experience working with clients who are suffering from anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as a result of traumatic experiences. Angelina enjoys helping clients learn how to establish and maintain boundaries for healthy relationships in all areas of their lives.
She received her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University and her graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University.
