Dr. Cindy Hatfield is a passionate practitioner in the field of clinical psychology. In her clinical practice with Cherokee Center for Change Counseling, she delivers solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and other evidence-based treatments to adult, adolescent, and child clients with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and adjustment problems such as anxiety, stress, depression, attention issues, trauma and relationship problems.
Dr. Hatfield received her bachelor’s degree from The University of Georgia and her Psy.D. in clinical psychology from GSPP. She completed her clinical psychology internship at Florida State Hospital in Chattahoochee, Florida.
Dr. Hatfield finds it gratifying to introduce clients and therapists, alike, to highly effective evidenced-based treatments such as various types of transcranial stimulation including FDA-approved Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation (CES) and Neurofeedback. She has had the privilege of witnessing dramatic transformations in clients with depression, anxiety disorders, sleep issues, attention deficit disorders, suicidal ideation, personality disorders, and addictions. She is eager to apply her experience and compassion with clients as they begin to address issues that will help them to improve their quality of life and attain a sense of fulfillment.
